Earlier today I listed the first 3 items of Kohleidoscope’s Spring / Summer 2016 line to the Etsy shop. The Reduce, Reuse, Recykohl bags make me ridiculously happy. They are fun to make, feel wonderful, work remarkably well, and I feel good doing a little something to make the world a little greener.
I’ve been working on them for quite awhile, making sure I have them just right before releasing them to the world. I keep these things somewhat shrouded in mystery until all the kinks are worked out, but a few people know about my items from the minute the idea pops into my head. My friend, Stacie, is one of those people. I’m beyond fortunate to call her my friend, my Agent of All Things, and my photographer. She’s incredibly talented, but more importantly, she is possibly the most fun person I have ever met in my life.
Yesterday, Stacie and I went to our top secret lunch location to brainstorm ideas and eat cheeseburgers as big as our faces. We had to prepare for our top secret ninja mission: take amazing photographs of the bags with produce and random people we found at our favorite grocery store without being asked to leave or buying the entire bakery inventory. It was 3 hours of hilarity, creativity, stealth-like activity, and silliness. It was also highly successful. Just take a look!
For a minute there, I was afraid you were going to post an embarrassing photo of me with a french fry up my nose or something.
These bags are legit, people. Even loaded with 15.5 pounds of the best stuff we could find in the store, the bag didn’t flinch, and it was comfortable on my shoulder. I recommend buying a few of these quickly before Sarah gets bored and stops making them.
